How long does the gift voucher remain valid?

Your gift voucher code is valid until the stated end date. The classic gift voucher that everyone can order at Coolbird are valid until one year after the purchase date. But there are also gift vouchers in circulation with a shorter validity period. For example: 6 months. These are possibly gift vouchers from a commercial action, a sponsorship, a purchase of gift vouchers by a pigeon club, etc.

How can I order the gift voucher?

On the page gift-vouchers you can add the gift voucher(s) to your shopping cart. You choose for "digital" or "mail delivery". With digital gift certificates you will receive the gift certificate(s) in pdf-format in your mailbox after checkout. If you choose "mail delivery", the gift voucher(s) will be delivered to your home address.

Can I have the gift voucher delivered directly to the receiver?

With digital gift cards you will receive the gift card(s) in pdf format in your own mailbox after checkout. You then must print or forward the gift voucher to the receiver yourself.

If you opted for "mail delivery", the gift voucher(s) will be delivered to a home address. If you enter the delivery address of the receiver, the physical gift voucher will be delivered directly to the receiver.

Are there a delivery costs for a gift voucher?

No delivery costs are charged for a digital gift card. The digital gift card will be sent to your mailbox after checkout. For delivery by post we charge 1.95 euro shipping costs unless the gift certificate is part of an order with other Coolbird products. In that case the shipping costs will be calculated as usual based on your order amount.

Can I return a gift voucher?

The right of withdrawal is excluded for gift voucher orders. A gift voucher is a means of payment and not a product. A purchased Gift Voucher can therefore not be returned nor redeemed for money.

There is no VAT on my invoice, is that correct?

A gift voucher is a means of payment and not a product. Gift vouchers are therefore exempt from VAT.

Can I use a gift voucher multiple times?

No, you cannot. A Gift Voucher Code is unique, and the recipient can only use this code once. In case of an exchange, we do not give any money back. Any remaining amount will be forfeited.

Is there a minimum order amount for the receiver to redeem a gift voucher?

Sometimes there is. The classic gift vouchers that everyone can order at Coolbird are free of minimum purchase amount. But there are also gift vouchers in circulation where the recipient must order for a minimum amount. For example: a gift certificate of 10 euro for a minimum purchase of 50 euro. These are possibly gift vouchers from a commercial action, a sponsorship, a purchase of gift vouchers by a pigeon association, etc.

Can I give my gift voucher to someone else?

Yes, the gift voucher is not registered in your name. Anyone who receives the unique code can redeem the value.

Can I redeem multiple gift vouchers per purchase?

No, you cannot. You can redeem a maximum of one gift card per order.

I am a member of the Coolbird Advantage Club and as a member I also have discount vouchers. Can I redeem a gift card and a coupon at the same time?

No, you cannot. You can redeem a maximum of one gift card or coupon per order.

Where can I redeem the gift card?

The Coolbird Gift Voucher is only valid on the Coolbird website.

How can I redeem the gift card?

The receiver can use the code on the gift card to redeem the value of the gift card as a discount on an order at Coolbird. You can do that very easily by filling in the gift voucher code in the shopping cart:
